Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of October, La Citerne and Foundation Louis Jou The Louis Jou Foundation organizes several conferences about the professions linked to the book or printing on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of October. Within the greatest typographers of this century, the Louis Jou's position is exceptional. He is the only one who conceived and realized a book all by himself. Xylographer, metal engraver, Jou draws and casts his own characters. He decorates some bookbindings coming out of his presses. Originally Catalan, he created books which influenced in a decisive way the evolution of the present book.
